“William and his team were thoroughly professional, hard working and productive during a three week contract to design a new patio, grade the land, prepare difficult stony ground and lay some 240 slate paving slabs, plus associated brickwork and raised beds. Estimating was spot on with no wastage. The site was left tidy each evening and finished to a very high standard, including grass edges and quality pointing that we are confident will last well. Watching him work with laser levelling and carefully selected stone/size/pattern, it was clear he is a craftsman who takes great pride in his work. “Will and his team have just finished landscaping our garden and we could not be happier. It was a big, challenging project and they took it all in their stride. They cleared the entire garden of overgrown shrubs, dug out an enormous tree root and then turned our overgrown wild garden into an oasis of calm with a new patio, a path, raised beds, a pergola, new turf, a bin store, a new shed and a simple play frame for the kids.
They were professional, timely, proactive, great at communicating and an absolute pleasure to have around. The attention to detail was excellent (specifically regarding how they laid the setts/paving) and nothing was too much trouble.
They were always ready with solutions to any problems and had some great suggestions throughout. They were incredibly accomodating when we had a water leak and had to change our garden plans last minute. Even when the weather was against them (snow/freezing temperatures) they just got on with things. They work incredibly hard and you can tell that they take great pride in what they do. “We hired William Sutton Landscaping for two London Stock brick patio's in our garden. We had a good idea of the design but had a few questions and needed professional input. In his quotation visit, Will provided really great advice to help us tweak and iterate our designs based on our space and taking things like maintenance into consideration. We were then able to finalise our designs before the work and Will translated these perfectly in his landscaping. It was also really beneficial getting Wills professional input into small changes which cropped up during the work. The job was completed on time and with minimal disruption. Additionally, we really enjoyed having Will on-site and really appreciate his hard work and craftsmanship.
